2024 SWPPP Storm Water Pollution Prevention Training 2024
For City of Albuquerque Employees
This training will satisfy your initial and yearly SWPPP training requirement. It will provide a generalized explanation of non-point source pollution and cover the importance of storm water. It also provides key points to utilize at your site regarding BMP’s, spill training and other MSGP obligations. This course is designed for all personnel, as each member of all teams are required to have SWPPP training.

- Permit overview (the purpose of the program)
- Importance of preventing storm water pollution
- Discuss City of Albuquerque’s responsibilities
- Discuss your responsibilities
- Provide an overview of SWPPPs and BMPs
- Regulatory update including 2021 MSGP and key points on Proposed 2022 MSGP
- Assess effectiveness of storm water training
